Bollard Double Think

http://www.sharechat.co.nz/article/2d6b9e05/bollard-says-kiwi-dollar-still-overvalued-climbs-over-72-us-cts.html

Here we go again, the MPS says no longer higher for longer, in fact it might be a whole quarter sooner that the OCR is tightened.  Well up goes the kiwi dollar and down goes the returns to exporters.  But accoring to the RBNZ the dollar is overvalued - it is starting to rain but chuck the umbrella.

Where is the logic, there is a heap of water to run under the bridge between now and the middle of next year, why the hell not just keep the language the same and see the dollar fall?

Inexplicable.
